Easy Chili
Brown 2 pounds of ground beef with 1 small chopped onion and about 4 cloves of diced garlic.
Add:
- two 14 oz. cans of diced tomatoes
- two 15 oz. cans of tomato sauce
- 2 cans of water
- 1can of dark red kidney beans (rinsed)
- 1 can of light red kidney beans (rinsed)
- 1 can of black beans
- 1 tbs. of chili powder or more
- 1 tsp. of red pepper flakes
- 2 bay leaves
- salt and pepper to taste
Simmer and stir for about 1 hour.
Serve with shredded cheese, sour cream, garlic bread, and a tossed salad.
Yummy!
