I am not or was never a person to have a huge group of friends. My preference has always been to be close with only a few, as those few would be the people I chose to establish a relationship with because we share common goals, passions and values. My best friend has always been Brian, and now, as my kids are grown up, they are my "other" best friends. I do have some women friends and they are the people that I can relate to and they can relate to me about our worries, loves, passions, and changes. Friends are special, and I have always felt it is better to have a few that are true to you than many acquaintances.
