Tomorrow, the "three amigos" will be leaving our home at 4:55 to begin our next task of getting my husband cancer free. Although we told Nick he could meet us at the hospital a bit later, he insisted on leaving with us so we will caravan to Central DuPage Hospital, check in and hope the surgery begins on schedule at 7:30 a.m. It is a long one, 4. 5 plus hours, but after that, it will be over. We so want to be told in a week that the cancer has not spread more than it already has so we can avoid chemo/radiation and get on to healing. Well, until later, wish us luck as this has been one heck of a ride lately and it is time for it to be over!
