happy monday...

I hope you had a nice weekend. I...

• had a gathering at my home right after work on Friday with my team and the Spanish team which is primarily housed in my pod.  Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and the many new teachers were happy to be included in a social event.  It was really lovely.
• did my usual with my husband on Saturday and by the time we came home from our errands in the late afternoon and put everything away, I laid down and never got up.  Yep, I skipped dinner and end up sleeping for a little over 12 hours. 
• made Nick his birthday dinner which was really a 1:30 in the afternoon meal as we will not see him today on his 24th.  He enjoyed the celebration and his gift and even got a call from Tony who is taking him hunting on Wednesday; Nick's first time!
• enjoyed the continuous light snow and we ended up with quite a bit of accumulation.  Everything looks pretty and white!
