This was my conversation with Nick after some pertinent information was shared between us...
me: Nick, you sound good and it's only 7 day's since your surgery.
nick: Yep. (Yawn) Well, you called me after my nap. I sound good after a nap. Believe me when I say you don't want to call me or talk to me when I'm tired.
me: I knew that and I know you need to nap so this is a good time to call.
nick: Yep, ( Another yawn!) and you don't want to call me after my bath.
me: Bath? I thought you showered.
nick: I usually do but not any more.
me: Oh really! How do you do it?
nick: You don't want to know. It's not pretty.
