Brian and Matt left before 6 this morning to head to Jonesboro to see Nick and enjoy a weekend of sports, food, drinks and time with each other and friends. Well, a few things occurred to me today as I thought of their trip. First, Matt has never been to ASU so he is sure to have fun seeing where Nick spends most of his year and the Red Wolves play Notre Dame in a rugby game, experiencing the St. Charles parents hosting the "Post-Game Rugby Lunch" for both teams and spending the weekend with his little brother and Dad. Next, I realized Brian has never been away and alone with both boys. Although I know he will enjoy each moment as it is one that is very rare; it is sure to be filled with them being silly, obnoxious and annoying. Finally, Nick and Matt have never been alone together with their Dad without me. Their time is then sure to be quiet as my voice will not be heard, unorganized as there will be no "official" plans, ridiculous as the boys will do "stupid" things that I would stop and just what it should be without a mom!
