a fall weekend in jonesboro...

Wonderful!  Sarah, Brian and I traveled to see Nick for a 4-day weekend which turned out to be lovely. What did we do?  We...
  • enjoyed wonderful dinners.
  • cleaned Nick's apartment from top to bottom.
  • talked and laughed and laughed and laughed.
  • spent more time with Nick's friends who are wonderful people and they love him as much as he loves them.
  • listened to Sarah stories about her "alone time" with Nick.
  • went to the A-State vs. Ole Miss rugby game (Nick is strong and confident on the field!) and well, Ole Miss was no match for the Red Wolves!
  • enjoyed both the Jonesboro and St. Charles people's company.
  • shopped for groceries and then made and wrapped 10 sandwiches, sloppy Joe which was frozen for later in the week and a Sunday crock pot dinner which was simmering when we left today.
  • spent time in "Thrift Stores" finding great glassware and ceramics and baskets that were painted and a few cute short blazer jackets.
  • handed out "Chex Mix" Halloween treats to the guys who loved the gesture and snack.

  •
My youngest and oldest had a wonderful time together!

Our trip to Carter's Corner where we all bought great belts and I
also purchased a brown bag and some jewerly.

Sarah continued to be in "Project Mode" spray painting ceramics and
baskets and weaving ribbon in baskets as well.

Let the second half of the game begin!

A victory for the Red Wolves!

The rugby boys posing with their Halloween treats...Cajun Chex Mix
made and packaged by me and enjoyed, as I heard, by all!

A wonderful end to a wonderful afternoon!
