Brian left for Little Rock early this morning, so this is a different Friday night for me as I am alone in our home. I do enjoy being by myself now, but it has been "acquired" comfort because for most of my life, I have been surrounded by my husband and kids hourly, daily, weekly, monthly and yearly! To many, that would have been overwhelming, but it was wonderful to me. I have had the privilege of being apart of family who has grown up together and loved each other, unconditionally, as we have experienced ups and downs, highs and lows and laughs and tears. That is an amazing gift to have been given; to be surrounded by people you care about and who care about you.
That has been our lives....us...all of us together. I think we could, in fact, write "The Story of Us."
