The Fox and the Turkey Run is in Batavia on Thanksgiving morning. (I have only run in one short race, years ago, when we lived in Chicago and I was in my middle or late twenties. Wow!) I asked my boys if they wanted to run with me on that special morning; they have until Sunday to decide when I will officially enter. A four mile race along the Fox River and through a very cute river town sounds sweet to me. It is a fun raiser as well, and all runners are asked to bring in cans of food for the less fortunate. Sounds like fun!
