I was on a five mile walk yesterday, alone and listening to podcasts when I realized I am very much at peace these days. Why, one might ask? Well, it's because these days I can wake up and breathe before getting out of bed. I can go on a long, long walk and enjoy the sun and breeze and trees and plants that are coming alive around me. I can plan a new meal daily and sew and crochet gifts for others to bring them joy. I can escape in a book and learn something new on my own time. I can enjoy my husband who is carefree these day; he is relaxed and laughs and loves his new life more than I can say. I am lucky!
