One of our favorite places to eat in St. Simons is Sandcastle Cafe & Grill. This cafe has the best, best, best breakfast food and the people are so sweet. The moment you walk in, you are warmly welcomed by all. There is a hearty Southern Breakfast Buffet available with bacon and pancakes and grits and biscuits and gravy and eggs or you can order from the menu which offers southern dishes or unique egg dishes with crab and salmon but that's not all. Sandcastle has wonderful morning cocktails. Yep, you can order a Bloody Mary or mimosas or Poinsetta or the ever popular Momma Mimosa. This cocktail is like the Poinsettia which is champagne, a generous pour of champagne, topped with cranberry juice, but the Momma Mimosa is then topped with a little swirl of Citron Vodka; a drink that every mommy would love to have to start her day.  The Momma Mimosa was highly recommended by the female waitresses who said it is just "DELICIOUS"! and that Sarah had to try one. Sarah and I just laughed and laughed at their enthusiasm and did enjoy the Pointestta along with the amazing food and people one morning and as you can see, our little buddy was quite happy, too!
