On Tuesday, a 7th grade boy at one of our middle schools had a seizure after running a mile in a track tournament. His heart stopped, he was taken to Lurie's Children Hospital and Cameron Pepera died the next day. We are all so saddened by this tragedy and heartbroken for his dear family. The students paid tribute to their classmate by posting messages on his locker.
