Today is the start of my four day weekend which is my new "summer normal" as I'm taking care of Graham Monday - Wednesday. So today, I did not get out of bed until 6:15, the time I leave for Elmhurst, and then got ready for my first run. of the week When I left the house, I was running through low clouds and it was misty but then, after mile one, the thunder began. As I could only continue, I did to only get monsooned on for about 3/4's of a mile; the distance I was from home. I was completely soaked from head to toe; my shoes were spitting water with every stride. This was a first for me. After getting coffee and regrouping, I proceed to trim my plants and clean and organize my closet. Now that everything is done, I'm enjoying my new favorite treat, Steigl Radler which is suppose to be served in a flute, before beginning my errands. Enjoying a productive Thursday!!!
