I hope you had a nice weekend. I...
- took care of some "Brian Business" on Friday afternoon and then stopped into Mariano's before I went home, unpacked everything and fell asleep for more than 10 hours. Stress will do that!
- went to Auntie Fritzie's memorial which was lovely. We met at the funeral home and listened to a few words from the priest and dear George. All then proceeded to the cemetery where the urn of ashes were put in the ground and all were invited to shovel dirt on them. It was actually quite moving and there was real closure.
- ran 5 miles on a beautiful, cool morning as I thought about all of the Chicago Marathon Runners. What a wonderful day they had to shine as an athlete.
- caught up on paper grading and dinner prepping before I headed to Geneva for a walk on Third Street and a glass of wine at my favorite Galena Cellars.
- made stuffed green peppers for our Sunday dinner.
Have a great week!
