happy monday...



I hope you had a nice weekend. I...

• grocery shopped with Nick on Friday which was fun...it was nice having company.
• went to eat at Country House which was a nice surprise.  Brian wanted to go there on a beautiful summer night.  We ate Bison burgers and enjoyed the evening together and I was phoneless which was wonderful.
• woke up on Saturday to Brian leaving for the guys' Cantigny Golf Outing; courtesy of me.  That was my Christmas present to Brian, Matt, Chris and Tony.
• met Sarah and Jenny in Oak Brook for lunch at Mon Ami Gabi and enjoyed our conversation and the many wedding updates.
• woke up Sunday, straightened up and then headed off to Lowe's to buy a new washer and dryer. Done!
• was thrilled that Rev. Barry has been booked to officiate the July ceremony.  He is the same Rev. that married Sarah and Chris 4 years ago:)
• enjoyed wine on the river with Brian to toast to my last day of vacation.
