today...

There is no room to ever be bored so today was a bit interesting for me.  I went for my bike/run and then came home to do a few things before leaving our home for a new haircut.  I did not like the way my hair looked after 3 weeks so I went to Mario's and came out looking completely different.  Then, I discovered our late afternoon plans changed with Sarah and Chris so I decided to go shopping in Geneva Commons and left with a few " very pretty" goodies.  My next stop was to Valley Nail for a pedi, but I ended up getting a mani, too, and then I went home to be greeted with the amazing smell of Mississippi Roast simmering in my crock pot.  Nick came home early today and said he was going with me to Sarah's new place...no, our plans changed, and as his day was "stress filled" (...that seems to happen when you are dealing with juvenile prisoners.) he contacted most of his friends to meet him for a "bite and a beer".  Well, no one was available.  A "No Go", yikes.  Both of us were together, feeling unsettled, so I made Nick some sandwiches, cleaned up, called Brian to say I wanted to go out with him after golf, got ready and that was that!  Oh my, what a crazy day for two of us!
