My sweet dad painted me this still life and surprised me with it at a wedding last Saturday. The story behind this gift is he has been doing still life painting lately and in my parent's dining room, he has 3 on the wall that I just love. When I mentioned it, he said, "Take them off the wall. There yours!" but that did not happen as my mom said, "Oh no, not yet. Please don't give them away just yet." She is so cute...so what did that wonderful man do? He painted me one, brought it to the wedding and gave it to me. I looooooove it so much and it is now hanging in my kitchen. A gift I will treasure forever!
