live simply...

Well, I know it is important to live simply and I try not to be extravagant and when I think about it, I'm not at all extravagant.  Let me just take a moment to reflect...well, I do spend money on my face and hair products, but I'm mindful with most of the clothes that I  buy as they are usually quite functional.  (That's imporatnat when your're a teacher.) We don't eat out often, really rarely unless I was extra busy or we need to celebrate and neither of us go out and buy things that we don't need, usually. I love a pretty home and do work to make our home a place we love to be but my hobbies are practical and I work and cook and clean and now that I think about this, I don't think I know what it means to "live simply".  Does it mean to sit and look at the mountains or watch the ocean waves or the boats on the lake?  That is kinda what I think it means, to enjoy nature and all it offers you but I don't live near a mountain or ocean or lake.  I do, however, live near a river that I like.  I don't know, this is confusing me...
