When I woke up this morning, I immediately went to the stairs to see if Nick was up and yes, he was getting ready for his first day of work. Yikes, how is it possible that our third child is now an adult with a real job? Let me just say, every time one of your children make a life change, it is bittersweet. That being said, I went back to bed and was instantly a bit sad as today is also Brian's last day of vacation and we had a really nice week together. It was productive and enjoyable and let's just say that I love being with my husband. Then, Brian left for golf after Nick and I decided to tidy up a bit, do a load of laundry, go over my bank accounts and make some week plans. While doing this, I instantly noticed our house is once again very, very quiet and I'm here alone. It is just a funny kind of Monday for me.
