- enjoyed Friday with my husband.
- cleaned while Brian patched and painted on Saturday. Then, we were off to Costco and Lowes to make yet another appointment for patio blinds and a widow covering consultation.
- stopped in one of our favorite pubs in Elburn only to watch a waitress/bartender quit after an altercation with another woman bartender. They looked so mean and catty...it was sad.
- was happy that Sarah was enjoying her long weekend in Florida at dear Joanne's wedding which looked perfect.
- got an eyebrow and upper lip wax and it never seizes to amaze me what a huge difference it makes.
- made The Barefoot Contessa's Bolognese Sauce which is truly amazing and so easy.
- watched the Bulls lose and the Hawks win and then golf as we are a "sports family".
- worried a bit about Nick as he is quite down about his career.
