I woke up early to chat with Nick who was up most of the night even though he worked the 3 to 11 shirft yesterday. Third shifts are brutal as Nick now rarely sleeps at night any more. That being said, he made some food for the umteenth time and I was cleaning by 6:30. I also decided to wash the inside windows as I cannot stand water streaks on windows in the winter and they get so dusty from the constant heat as well. (The rooms smell really "dust free" now.) Then, I was off to get weekend meal groceries and shoe laces from Red Wing Shoes for Nick. Did you know you get free shoe laces and polishes for life when you buy Red Wing shoes? Yep, a great deal. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to my last 2 days off and I intend to enjoy each and every minute with my guys.
