a new year's day...

Brian and I really enjoyed our quiet New Year's Day together. Well, we relish all of our days together as that is what you do when you love someone; treasure the times you share with each other whenever those times happen. Well, the two of us started off today with coffee and breakfast as we reminisced about the past holiday week which was nothing short of "just lovely".  Then, we did a bit of "nothing, nothing" before leaving our home around 1 for lunch.  Destination: a pub in Geneva which serves great food, has a wonderful ambiance and is just plain cozy and comfortable in the afternoon. Upon arriving home, we got cozy, I finished some "nonsensical paper work", Brian napped and I enjoyed the quiet and fire and our simple home!  There is nothing like the holidays!
