tell me...

I read a "tell me" post somewhere and decided to do one of my own. Here is what I would tell my family about them and these thoughts are from the bottom of my heart...
  • "Tell me...Sarah"...You are a beautiful person, both inside and out.  You are the one who brings true love and joy to our family and to me, you are the daughter and friend that I have always wanted.  It is you that I can talk to and laugh with and eat with and just be with.  I am so lucky to be your mom.
  • "Tell me...Chris"...You are the one that our daughter truly loves. She thinks of you always, so much more often than you  more than likely realize.  Often when Sarah talks about you, I see the love she has for you in her eyes. You are a kind and good man to all and we were lucky the day you married our Sarah.
  • "Tell me...Matt"...You are the most genuine person I know.  You are who you are and have never tried to be or act like anyone else.  That is the sign of a good person.  You are also the  one who truly "enjoys" life and it is evident on your face when you work and cook and entertain and eat.  You are the most real person I know.
  • "Tell me...Jenny"...From the moment Brian and I met you, we knew you were "the one" for our Matthew.  Isn't that an amazing thing to say? Brian even said to Matt at our first get together, "You had better put a ring on her finger."  You are kind and giving and loving and real and we could not be more thrilled that you will soon be part of our family and Matthew part of yours.
  • "Tell me...Nick"...Our Nick, the one we have worried most about since the moment you were born as you have had  more than your fair share of challenges year after year.  Know, however, that all have made you the strong and determined man that you are.  Your work hard to accomplish whatever goal you set for yourself and for that, you should be proud.
  • Tell me...Brian"...There is no one that I love more than you and I have loved you forever.  We have had a wonderful life together and with our children and for that, I am grateful each and every day.
What would you tell your family?
