I hope you had a nice weekend. I...
- put away all decorations as I always feel like once the big day is over, it's time.
- looked at some Christmas pictures with all of the special people in our lives. We are so lucky.
- did a little shopping but could not get myself to buy any Christmas decorations on sale.
- enjoyed lunch at our new favorite place, Eddie Gaedel Pub and Grill, in Elburn. The food is amazing and the ambiance so cozy and comfortable.
- made a prime rib roast which was not greatly enjoyed by my guys. Apparently, unless the meat is from Reams, it is not palatable. Oh dear, what have I done!
- bought a New Year's shirt and accessories unexpectedly while Brian was looking for some clothes even though we are not leaving our home. I always find something in a retail store; it's just not that hard to do and I have no problem "pulling the trigger", according to my husband.
- watched the Bears lose a game on a very cold Sunday.
- filled in my new planner and calendar with some new pens; something that I always do. I also bought new journals which is also one of my traditions.
