a nick update...

Another big day for Nick tomorrow as he has a 6 plus hour "test/interview/screening" at the boy's prison facility in St. Charles (I actually do not know the name of this prison.). There was a lot of paper work to be filled out and additional documents that need to be brought which worries me as Nick and me do not operate the same way.  I would have had all of my docs gathered and ordered last week in a pile.  They would be tucked in a folder, ready to take to the interview and I would have been checking the documents daily.  Nick assembled all over the last two days.  One funny thing that happened was Nick needed a "current" reference and his "current" employer asked him if they had known each other for 2 weeks.  "Not really." was Nick's reply. Wow!!!  Well, good luck tomorrow, Nick, and by the way, the doors close and lock at the facility at  8:30 a.m. No one will be allowed to enter after that moment! That information just makes me nervous.  This is "high pressure time" to me; Nick, however, does not look worried!
