I hope you had a nice weekend. I...
- went home Friday and for the first time since I went back to work, laid on the sofa with Brian and read before dinner.
- did my usual Saturday morning routine while Brian painted a wall in the family room. Yeah! Fall painting has begun.
- ran some errands and then made a great chicken casserole with Roma tomatoes and mushrooms and garlic and cheese and basil dinner. It was really tasty.
- was up and out of our home by 5:35 on Sunday, headed to Elmhurst to pick up Sarah and then we were off to The Hot Chocolate Race. Yeah, I did it. I ran 15K (MapMyRun recorded 10.41 miles) in 1:50:12 which means I ran about 10:35 minute miles. Not bad, if I do say so myself. Then, the 3 of us were off to Egg Harbor for a celebratory brunch with so many other runners and race volunteers.
- rested a bit in the afternoon while Brian played golf on a beautiful, fall afternoon and then enjoyed a dinner with my guys before calling it a "victorious day"!
