I jumped up in bed a bit after 3 a.m. as my phone was ringing. Of course, I thought it was Nick and yep, it was. "Can you pick me up?" Well, that's a non-negotiable in our home so he text me the address, I entered it into my phone and was off driving downtown on a totally deserted Main Street. Nick got in the car babbling a bit after numerous "ETA" texts and started talking very loud. He kept insisting I bring him to Taco Bell and after numerous times sharing it was not opened, I changed my route home to prove it to him so he would, excuse the expression, "just shut up", but know, he didn't. "Take me to Jewel." Dude, there is nothing opened at 3 in the morning so as I passed it and he still insisted I stop, I pulled in the garage, went back to bed and waited to hear the clanging of dishes in the kitchen stop. OMG! He is something sometimes!
