3 bean salad...


Mmmmm!  Such a great dish to have in the refrigerator during summer.

Bean Salad
via my friend, Mary M.

1 can of cut green beans
1 can of wax beans
1 can of kidney beans
1 can of garbanzo beans

Rinse all beans in a colander.
In a large bowl, whisk:
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 2/3 cup of white vinegar
  • 1/3cup of vegetable oil
  • 1/2 diced purple onion
  • 1 diced green pepper
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • garnish with thyme
Add beans and mix gently.  This recipe is nice to double as it lasts a long time in the refrigerator!
