I was so happy it was the last day of school and then; truly sad. My LA teacher, Lynn, will not be back or on my team next year which is an enormous loss for our school and me. I love this woman as she is an amazing person and teacher and teammate. Also leaving is my assistant principal, Mike, Jeff, Kathy, Mary, Carol, Shirley, Mary Jo and our leader, Melissa. My heart is happy for all as they are moving on to the next stage of their lives but sad for me as these people are truly special. I have worked with all, become friends with many and respect each and every one of them for all they do for the kids and families of St. Charles. Such a bittersweet day!
