I called Nick last night to check on his leg as he was suppose to get his boot off. Yep, it happened and he is now walking, walking with a very visible limp, but walking. He will continue his 3 day a week therapy sessions until he can run, which they are thinking will be about 6 more weeks. Therapy is really hard, according to my guy! What a terrible injury he had! On a lighter note, I was able to check to see if his bff, Pat, still thought he and his family wanted to join ours for the boys's graduation dinner. Yes was the answer but a change was made in the location. I wanted Omar's Uptown and Nick and Pat wanted Omar's 501 so I called the restaurants, made and changed reservations and left a message on Pat's mom's phone to confirm our get together. 3 more weeks and counting!
