This was part of my conversation with Nick last night as he was walking home from the cafeteria.
nick: I was talking to Pat and rugby is really over. I mean I'm never going to make money playing it and I just want to finish school and graduate.
me: This is always a hard semester for kids, Nick.
nick: I know but I feel so unmotivated. I just want to be done and graduate.
me: You will. Just keep working hard so you finish strong and have fun, Nick.
nick: Okay. mom. I love you.
me: I love you, too.
Oh, I so remember the last semester of school and having these same feelings. So close to a new chapter of life beginning!
