Brutal. It took Nick a very long time to get back to school yesterday. As we knew he would encounter some rain, we did not know about a detour that added an hour plus to his trip when he was about 2 hours from his destination. When you are driving far and alone, a detour is horrible. It somewhat knocks the wind out of you and you get mighty tired after that. Glad he is safe and sound and I'm sure quite happy to wake up today knowing the trip is over. (On a side note, Brian was trying to find out where the detour was as Nick did not share that with him during one of their "check in" calls. He call AAA and gave them Nick's route only to be told there was no detour on that route yesterday. Mmmmm! Another interesting Nick story!)
