I hope you had a nice weekend. I...
- went to get my hair cut on Friday after the most stressful Friday at work in the history of my Friday's at work.
- cleaned, as usual, on Saturday and made some fun meal plans that required a trip to the Mexican grocery store.
- celebrated Jenny's birthday and met her mom and step dad, Marty. Both were so very nice and Jenny is just like her mom.
- enjoyed Matt's dinner which was as usual; delicious.
- went out on Sunday to gather the supplies we needed to make Bistec Con Chilies Verdes and chili and the Pioneer Woman's Pork Chops with Pineapple Fried Rice.
- received a text from Nick say, "I almost died at practice today." Well, apparently Nick bought some red wine last night and then decide to have a few beers and some whiskey. What!!! He practices 7 days a week and 2 times a day at least 3 times a week. Anyway, Sunday afternoon's practice proved to be more than he could handle, well no, he did handle it as Nick made it through the entire work out but was dead last running and received an evil look from Coach. He was off to get pizza with Rob when we hung up!
- laughed when I told Brian, who was watching sports in the family room, that I would be there soon and heard his reply, "Take your time!".
- opened up our favorite bottle of wine when the ice storm began.
