Nick hurt his back last week and has been out of commission after trying to practice his ball throwing on Saturday. The poor guy has been stuck in our home for days and did not even go out on New Year's Eve. When he woke on New Year's Day, his first words were, "This is the best I've felt on New Year's Day in years!" As he claims to be fighting depression from not being able to exercise or lift weights or socialize, we have had many conversations. Hopefully today's doctor's appointment will bring some good news as I did see him holding his phone yesterday wishing it to ring.
