My current home project is Nick's room. Over the weekend, we bought him some much needed new furniture and it looks wonderful. Yesterday, Nick's task was to put together the 2 drawer nightstand that matches this dresser and at 3 in the afternoon I received a text that said, "I'm taking a break from this job and going to the gym." Nick shared the task almost ruined his day (Oh no!) as it was so frustrating. He could not line up holes and screws would not go in right and it was harder, according to him, than the big dresser Brian put together the day before (...the 5 hour project). Don't think so! Anyway, when I got home, Brian was on his knees again in the family room finishing the job and he claimed he now has the hang of "Ikea assembling." Good! That means another trip will be welcomed. Next task is to get a mirror, a picture and some new bedding and then on to bathroom number 2. Nick told Brian that they should start painting today and work an hour each night so their weekend is free. Sounds like a plan!
