happy monday...

Budding trees on the weekend before Spring arrives!

I hope you had a great weekend.  I...

• was very productive on Saturday with Brian and our home looks great.
• planned our next painting project; the upstairs hallway.
• caved into Nick and said he could charge his food as the Cafe is closed on his American Express card instead of using his monthly money.  Nooooo!  He went to the dog races on Friday and reported he lost 40 dollars...that is $40.00 of my money, not his, and I would never gamble $40.00 away!
• did much grocery shopping on Sunday as I am much better at making my week menu.
• sat on my deck and soaked up some wonderful Vitamin D.
• bought food for Nick but am not sure why because at this point, his plans have changed so many times....
• Thursday...not coming home until next week as he was staying in Jonesboro for the game, St. Patrick's Day and then going camping until Tuesday.
• Friday...coming home on Saturday as the camping trip was pushed to later in the week.
• Saturday...not coming home as none of his St. Charles friends can go out for St. Patrick's Day and Nick wanted to go out so he will come home Monday.
• Sunday...not coming home Monday as he is going camping after he goes to the doctor as he thinks he has a sinus infection and is currently taking old antibiotics.  Maybe he will come home on Wednesday.  (Luckily, I do not get upset or disappointed as I understand he is 22 and on Spring Break.)
• began my 5 day countdown until my Spring Break!
