In less than two weeks, Nick will be going back to school and when I think about the last few months, all I can say is I am really lucky that we have had such a wonderful summer together. We have talked and laughed and worked together at the softball field. I have made an assortment of new recipes that he willingly tries and critiques and made him so many paninis that I have become known as a "sandwich artist" in our home. We have watched shark shows and alligator shows and ink shows and rugby together. We have visited in the late afternoon when Brian gets home and eaten dinner together as a family every night sharing stories. Brian and I love having Nick home and are grateful that we have such a positive relationship with him. As I know it is time for him to get back to his college life in Arkansas, I will miss him and his company. (That is a good thing to be able to say!)
