working outside in this heat...

Nick left for work with:

• one freezer bag with a frozen block and 3 large Gatorade drinks, 1 gallon jug of water and 2 sandwiches in it,
• one freezer bag with a frozen block and a large wet towel in it,
• a hat that he says he looks stupid in but it covers his head and face which he was glad about,
• sunscreen covering every inch of his exposed skin,
• a good bye to me and the words, "I hope I see you tomorrow!"

Both Nick and I predict some games will be called as it is about 10 degrees hotter on the field which would bring the heat index up to about 115 to 120 degrees.  Seriously, will parents let their little girls play a game in this heat? (My husband thinks so!)
