Nick left for Country Thunder Thursday night with friends. These kind of events totally stress me out as they are nothing but trouble, if you ask me, and all I do is hope Nick will get through each day without losing his phone, wallet, bank card or friends and that he will not get beat up, too loaded that he is not lucid, arrested or hurt or end up in the hospital. (If you knew his record, you would understand my paranoia!) When he left, Brian and I were just rattling so many orders at him that Nick asked us if we were going to tell him to have a good time. Yes, I guess have a good time, but not too good. Well, here is the report...
Night 1: There was rain, thunder and lightening at Twin Lakes all night. What was going on in my mind? Are they in a tent? Is the tent leaking? Will they get hit by lightening? Great!
Day 1: Nick called me around 10:30 a.m. on Friday and asked if I had another key to the Focus. I guess his keys were in Chris C.'s car and the question of the morning, according to Nick is, "Where is Chris C.?" Yes, I have a key and then I shared with Nick that he better come home with two or Brian may have a heart attack. Nick assured me he would, asked me not to mention this to Bri (No problem!) and then said Danny, who is really nice will be by within minutes to pick the key up. Now I don't know Danny, but when he came to the door I told him to please be careful and stay with the group and be sure to tell Nick his priority today was to find his keys. As he smiled and said of course he will do all that I asked he looked like he was thinking this woman is an absolute nut! What ever!
Night 2: More thunder, lightening and rain! Yuck! I hope all is well.
