my boys....

For some reason, when my boys have issues that they need to talk with me about, the conversations tend to happen on or within the same day.  That is just what happened yesterday between 4 and 5 pm.  Both called, revealed much and when I hung up, I immediately called Brian to share all of the news as it was a tad overwhelming.  Here were the topics!                                                               

Nick called me to:

• share that the other night when I called him and asked if he was o.k. as he sounded a bit "off",  the reason he did not say he was not good was because he was/is sick and he worries so much about the fact that I worry.
• tell me he was getting prescriptions to battle his upper respiratory and ear infection.
• share that he is thinking again of transferring to a new university where he can play more rugby.
• say he needs to get through this semester before he makes any moves (A wise choice!)

Matt called me to:

• tell me he does not want to buy the car that Brian found for him.
• share a new "contract" he negotiated with his company.
• say that this month was a good money month for him (Yeah!).
• ask if Brian and I wanted to invest in buying a place in the city for him to currently live in  (We will see!).
• tell me that Nick and a friend asked him to join them in Miami for Spring Break next week (Not a good idea to me and funny how Nick never mentioned the little excersion!).

These two always give me much to think about!
