lucky to have a wonderful family...

Our i-Pad Christmas...but where is Brian?  Oh, he did not
get one but I do not ever get a chance to use mine!

Since last August, our family has had many stressful happenings involving Nick ( three surgeries, no place to live at school, getting beat up... Yuck!).  Through all of this, my family banded together.  Brian helped Nick by talking to him, keeping his spirits up, listening to him and helping him "pick up the pieces and move on".  Sarah showed support with hospital visits and phone calls and advice to not only Nick, but to Brian and I and then there was Matt.  He came to St. Charles to stay with Nick when he could not be left alone so I could get things done, called him and me to check in and then planned  Nick an amazing 21st birthday party (with Sarah)  because he wanted that birthday to be special for his brother. Yesterday, all members were there for Nick once again. 
Sarah and Matt dealt with the initial "problem" in Florida through many telephone conversations with each other and Nick and Matt deposited money in his account.  Brian called him to get the story and see if he was alright and both the Sarah and Matt called Brian and I to see how we were handling things. 
Today, the calls continued, and after each one, I thought to myself that no one could possibly be as fortunate as me.  I have the most wonderful husband and children anyone could ever have.
