your refigerator...

First of all, how did you like Video #1? I noticed a few errors in it and I was going to record Take Two but then I said to myself, "Self, no! This should be real and show the real you so go with it." Well, the result of my reflection was  I made no changes so you saw what you saw. Good for me, right? That being said, let me clarify a few things. First of all, I don't have a foyer; when you enter my apartment you are in an entryway.  Also, I do not have a patio. When you walk through the sliding glass doors, you are on a balcony. Okay, my errors are corrected and we are ready to move on!
Your refrigerator. How does it look when you open the door? How do you feel when you look inside the space that stores the food you will consume? Mmmm, never thought of this? Well, do, go on! Open the door to your refrigerator and freezer and become aware of how you feel when you look inside.
Me, I'm happy with what I see; my refrigerator is clean and organized and balanced. Just take a look..

So again, here is what I do:
  • When putting foods away, make sure the labels are facing forward.
  • Cans are lined up and pulled toward the front.
  • Items are grouped according to "likenesses" meaning condiments are with condiments,  sauces are with sauces, cheeses are with cheeses, etc.
  • Fruits and vegetables are washed, dried and cut before being placed in appropriate drawers in an appropriate container or baggie. Watch for moisture build up and deal with it ASAP.
  • Spills and finger prints are wiped up as soon as they are noticed and this should be done with a glass cleaner as that works on both glass and non-glass areas.
  • Leftover foods that you freeze or pre-made foods that you freeze for later need to be labeled so that you know what the item is and when it was frozen.
  • Grandchildren can go into either part of the refigerator and not follow any of the above guidelines.
Hope this helps and sorry about the early publish, I don't know what happened as this post was to be seen tomorrow. Oh, and let me correct things now:

  • The celery stalks were cut; not diced.
  • The nuts and coffee were in the freezer section of the refigerator.
Okay, done and the corrections were made: until tomorrow...
