I decided to revisit my resolution and Word of the Year before April begins. It's important to me to periodically "check in" on the goals I set and evaluate my progress so here I go:
2019 New Year's Resolutions
Increase vegetable and fruit intake.
I definitely eat more fruit but as for vegetables, I don't think I'm eating
more this year compared to last. I mean, Nick goes raw some weeks so that,
to me, is increasing vegetable consumption and I have not done that this year.
Intentionally connect with family and friends.
Yep, that has been going well. I tend to stay to myself often as
I enjoy being at home and alone. Connecting with others both
in person and via technology has been quite nice. I have enjoyed being on
top of other's lives and connecting to people who are imporant to me. It has been nice.
Be adventurous
once a month.
Let me see, I did something on my own each month this year
so I'm being adventurous.
Decrease my weight by 15 pounds by December 31, 2019
Well, I'm currently following a good exercise plan and
actually just made a small revision to it today which I like.
My jeans are also looser but I'm not down
much in weight. Boo, but I feel like my body has changed a bit.
Word of the Year
"Be Aware"
I feel like I am continuing to be aware of myself and others and my surrounds.
That is important to me; to be cognizant of life and all it offers.
Not a bad start to the New Year, if I do say so myself!
