The car is packed, sandwiches wrapped, drinks and snacks are in a box and the semester money plans have been laid out. Nick is heading back this morning after dropping me off at work and going for a quick work out to "get his blood flowing and mind ready" for the 10 hour ride. I must admit, I have been a bit sad and quiet the past few days (noticed by Brian, Sarah and Nick as all have asked me if I was O.K), but that is only because our time together has been wonderful. The three of us have had great dinners and outings and family togetherness which I will miss, but of course, I am happy for our guy! Nick is so excited to return to school, reunite with his friends and take on his next challenge. This is such a fun time in his life and it is what he should be doing...learning and growing and maturing and tackling new experiences. (Ohhhhh! A tear just fell from my eyes!) Carpe Diem!
