happy monday...

I hope you had a nice weekend.  I...

• was worried about Nick on Sunday because when I called him around noon and asked how he was, he said he was hung-over and had practice in an hour.  What!!!  Nick has had a 7- day a week practice schedule since he went back to school, no days off, and last night, the boys decided to go out.  Bad decision!  I hope he (they) did not get sick, which they most likely did because how can you run 2500 plus meters (fast) running (100, 50, 25, 15, 10...10, 15, 25, 50, 100 meter intervals)  after a night of drinking?
• took my mom and dad out to lunch at Sprecher's in Lake Geneva and enjoyed their company and a window winter wonderland view of the frozen lake.
• went to see The Decedents on Saturday afternoon...it was a good movie; but predictable and Clooney being nominated for an Academy Award for this film is puzzling to me.
• got my car back and Brian immediately took it to Fuller's to have the oil changed and the car detailed as it was dirty (I am so happy to have it back. I was smiling driving it home!).
• talked to Sarah about going away for a long weekend in June together.
• continued to "declutter" our home.
• thought more about the redecorating of our 2nd room upstairs and I am thinking of a room for me to craft and read and work and do more.  We will see.
