happy martin luther king long weekend...

Our sweet Hannah and Cathie at lunch in Oak Brook
before Hannah returns for semester 2 at
"Ole Miss".
I hope you had a nice long weekend; if you were one of the lucky ones. I...
  • organized our home for "2" instead of "3".
  • bought necessities from Costco which always adds up to us spending way more money than we planned..
  • enjoyed finding Brian some great sweaters at Dicks; $68.00 plus sweaters for under $19.00 with tax.
  • bought my straight leg black pants and over sized sweaters and flats from H & M (So very cute!).
  • found a great black work bag that I have wanted for a long time (I loveee it!).
  • ordered my much need blush from Mario T. and discovered that I ordered  it in time to receive a 20% discount on the product.
  • had a wonderful facial and eye brow arch and tint and upper lip wax on Saturday.
  • cooked with Sarah on Sunday as Brian and Chris enjoyed re-gripping golf clubs and sports ( roasted Greek chickens...one for the "H's" and one for us...roasted potato wedges, cauliflower mac and cheese casserole, rosemary pinwheels, Greek salad and the feast-day-resistance....bread pudding with whiskey sauce (This was so yummy and I could not believe how easy it was to make!).
  • met Cathie and Hannah for lunch in Oak Brook on Monday.
  • received a call from my co-worker Ellen; she was sent to the hospital today and will soon be meeting her new daughter.
Have a great week!
