geneva christmas walk...

My dear friend, Maggie, came into work today with a ticket for me to go to the annual Geneva Christmas Walk.  I have wanted to go on this adventure since we moved to the Fox Valley, so I was thrilled at the thought of a lovely day viewing homes and a church decorated for the holiday. Thinking of Sarah, I sent her an early text to see if she would be interested in joining me and her answer was yes!  How fun will this be!
I will be picking Sarah up, before noon, at the Geneva train station on Saturday.  We will then tour the homes I map out for us for about three hours and our day will end at Wildwood, a lovely restaurant, where will enjoy a glass of wine by the fireplace together before she travels back home to Chicago. Will this become our Christmas tradition?  Who knows, but the day will be a memory we will both cherish.
