Yesterday, I was at an after school meeting that started with a discussion about the climate of the school and then the focus turned. A discussion began to evolve about how overwhelmed people are in their jobs as more and more is added to their plates. Although I see the connection, it made me want to revisit the definition of work.

So, this tells me that employees are going to feel stressed and overwhelmed and exhausted, at times, because they are expected to work to accomplish the goals and expectations set by the people who have hired them to do a job for a salary. I do not want to seem insensitive, but instead of focusing on all that has to be done; strive to balance work, home and life. I find it is a much better use of time and energy.
