Working with yarn is a wonderful past time as it forces your mind to totally engage a the project. You cannot think of anything else other than the needle(s) and the yarn in your hands. On Tuesday, I decided to investigate a new shop in town and purchase yarn. The store is on River Street in St. Charles and it is called Wool & Co. The experience was lovely because I love being surrounded by walls of colored yarn. The store was filled with beautiful yarn, tables with "how to..." books, finished knitted and crocheted projects and both calm and artistic women who love to create "pieces of art" in their hands. My next goal is to enroll in a class to knit and complete a project in a guided environment. Today, walk into an art gallery, a pottery shop, a bakery, a restaurant or a yarn shop to see what amazing artists can create!
