Brian and I always put up our tree up the weekend before Thanksgiving and take it down the day after Christmas. Why? We love to enjoy the holiday with all of the "frills" at the end of November and welcome in the New Year with a clean, organized and balanced home. So, the tree came out of the box on Sunday and as we began to plug in the lights and separate branches we quickly discovered a string of at least 100 were out. The task of unraveling and removing the lights took at least an extra hour, no fun, but in the end, all of the ornaments were hung, the snow flakes put in place, and the pearls draped. The holidays are here!
